Israeli Folk Songs

Soprano Sigal Chen has always had the love, passion and connection to her Israeli background and culture as well as the spiritual land of Jerusalem. Having grown up with a famous singer for a father, this music and the influence of the Sephardi melodies were ever-present in her childhood. These a just a few of the old Israeli folk songs that describe the beauty of Israel and, specifically, the holy city of Jerusalem. They embody the longing of the Jewish people to be back in the holy land which holds a strong spiritual connection.
